Job Title: iOS Developer

Job Summary:Working as a talented and motivated iOS developer to build, test, fix, deliver and maintain mobile apps within a technical team producing innovative sports betting products.You will work alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure, managing complex integrations with back-end services.Requires a collaborative approach with an aptitude for understanding business requirements quickly, problem solving and sophisticated design working towards the goal of creating high-performing, quality products.

Responsibilities and Duties:

● Designing and building advanced applications for the iOS platform● Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new

features● Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications● Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and

general reliability● Working on bug fixing and improving application performance● Calling attention to potential issues and risks early so any impact can be

managed● Practicing good design and demonstrating long-term thinking● Accurately estimating development work● Documenting features developed and commenting code expressively ● Refactoring code appropriately to maintain a complex and intricate project● Evaluating and implementing new technologies to maximise development

efficiency● Handling direct customer contact in relation to requirements on occasion● Assisting the technical support team with escalations when required

Skills and qualifications:

● Proven working experience in iOS software development● A deep understanding of Objective-C

● Familiarity with Swift (with ability to contribute towards project migration)● Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines● Experience of the iOS app store publishing process● Experience working with iOS frameworks● Experience with third-party libraries and APIs● Experience of testing methodologies● GitHub● Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures,

trends, and emerging technologies● Strong communication skills● Educated to degree level
