Jesus promises to be with

us as we go and make

disciples of every nation.

And making disciples has

and will always be our goal

in this ministry. Since the

start of the year we have

been visiting Brgy. Matab-

ang, sharing Gods word to

a small but very receptive

community there, and wehave found that indeed,

Gods favor is with us.

Later today, we will have

our irst service there, with

the residing families as

Reaching Matab-ang

our irst attendees. We are

hoping for more people to

be reached, and our own

place, so that we can follow

them up.

Also, this coming January

28, at 4:30PM, we will have

our LIFE Concert there, at

the Brgy. Covered Court.

You may invite your

family and friends to this

event. Also, your prayers

and support will go a

long way in letting the

word of God reach them.Indeed, Jesus promises

to be with us - let us thus

go and make disciples!

More improvements at PAGASA!As the year progresses,

additional changes are coming

to PAGASA!Last Friday, our

ull-time workers started

cleaning and levelling the areaoutside the walls o PAGASA.

The area was cleaned and

cemented. The childrens

canopy was also fxed and

strengthened.

We are envisioning bigger

improvements as the months

go by. We are expectinggreater things rom God, like

walls, computers and tables

or our ofce and a biggers

space or our kids. Also we

have our new telephone and

internet connection. This

year is getting really more

exciting! We are open or

more o your prayers and

support!

HOW TO HEAR GOD SPEAK

Luke 8:4-15

How do I hear God speak to me?

1. I MUST CULTIVATE AN OPEN MIND.

Ive got to want to hear from God, be eager, be receptive. Ive got to be

eady and willing to hear God.

What causes us to have a closed mind?

1. Pride. Pride causes us to have a closed mind. Anytime you fail to prayabout something, youre basically saying, I dont need God in this. I can

handle it on my own.

2. Fear. Sometimes were just afraid of what God might say to us.

3. Bitterness. Whenever weve been hurt and we hold on to those hurtful

memories, it causes us to close our minds to God.

2. I MUST ALLOCATE TIME TO LISTEN

Ive got to make time to hear Him. Ive got to slow down, be quiet, plan it

n my schedule.

3. I MUST ELIMINATE THE DISTRACTIONS

A lot of times we miss hearing God because our minds are crowded with

other thoughts.First, worries can distract you from hearing God speak. You cant pray

and worry at the same time.

Riches can be a weed in your life. We can be so busy making money we

dont have time for God.

Another weed can be pleasures.

4. I MUST COOPERATE WITH WHAT HE SAYS

God talks to people who decide in advance that they are going to do

whatever He tells them to do when He tells them.

v. 15 The seed on the good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart who

hear the word of God and retain it and by persevering produce a good crop.They not only hear Gods word but they retain it. They write it down, they listen to

t, they think about it and go over it. The result is a productive life.
