Why a Lion's mane is furry.

There was a massive explosion and ALL the tremendously long grass became each adult lion's furry mane.

As you can see, the first picture has a lion with out a mane and a little bit of fur. And the second picture, has a lion with LOTS of fur on the mane.

From then on, ALL the adult lions had massive furry manes and there is a fairy tale that goes around now to all the the little lions about the long grass explosion.
