GAIL HEIDENHAIN
Gail Heidenhain is currently President and the Director of the certification committee of the International Association for Accelerated Learning Practi-tioners (IAALP). She has also served on the boards of the North American Simulation and Gaming Association, the DGSL (German professional organi-zation for Accelerated Learning), and the Organizational Change Alliance. She has also served on the conference committees of NSCD (National Staff Development Council) and ASTD (American Society of Training and Develop-ment) now ATD (Association for Talent Development).
Gail has been consulting on the people side of the business with organizations around the world since 1985. She has worked with diverse industries including the energy sector, government agencies, non‐profit organizations, insurance and banking, technology, health, the hospitality industry, the automobile industry, and in higher education. She was born in the USA, worked and lived in Germany and the UK. Her life’s work has centred on helping organizations develop the emotional, social and collective intelligence of their people. Her Accelerated Learning approach to the development of learning programs brings the reality of work to formal training programs and focused learning to the workplace. Gail’s work in Learning and Development facilitates “impact by design” ‐ the kind of development that trans-forms mindset, attitude and abilities to meet the demands of today’s world and prepare for a sustainable future. In 1997, Gail expanded her work to the Americas, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. Gail’s expertise are Leadership Development, Personal Mastery, Accelerated Learning, Process Facilitation, Instructional Design, Coaching, Appreciative Inquiry, Neurolinguistic Program-ming, Organizational Development and Change Management, Team Performance, Conflict Management and Mediation. Gail studied international business, linguistics, and German at the University of Georgia, Univer-sity of Munich, and the University of Manchester Institute of Technology, and is a Certified Mas-ter Trainer in Accelerated Learning (IAALP and DGSL), a Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner, a Licensed Mediator for Workplace Disputes (Atlanta Justice Center), Dialogue‐Facilitator (MIT) and was Certified in Transformational Coaching by Dr. Fred Kofman and Dr. Freeman Dhority of MIT.
