It is the perfect opportunity to showcase our brands, products, sales and marketing strategies, and growth to the most influential buyers in the world. This year it is our goal to showcase our upcoming product lines, strengthen our relationships with our clients, and further cement the 13 Fishing/No.8 Tackle Co brand impact to the visiting retailers. This will be our fourth ICAST, and we believe the ICAST has made a huge impact on the 13 Fishing and No.8 Tackle Co success. Our exhibit re-enforces our brand growth each year; this gives the retailers confidence to support us. Gary Arbenethy LIVETARGET NINE YEARS EXHIBITING We exhibit at ICAST principally for three reasons. One, to introduce and showcase new product development to channel partners and media. Two, to offer face-to-face personal interaction with business partners and prospects to aid in the sales process, a chance to inspect and engage in person on new products, and three, to represent our brand in ways that excite channel and media engagement. We always strive to be both exciting and have an element of surprise in our presentations and new product launches. Plus, we want to ensure both channel customers and media have a good understanding of LIVETARGET and our future direction. We always want to make a professional and bold impression with our brand. Ray Hill WILEY X EIGHT YEARS EXHIBITING Wiley X, Inc exhibits at ICAST for many key reasons, one of which is because ICAST is the world’s largest sportfishing trade show in the country and biggest stage for us to continue to brand WX as the only premium polarised eyewear brand whose entire adult line is ANSI Z87.1 rated and EN certified. ‘Absolute. Premium. Protection.’ is what WX is about and to be able to showcase this to attendees, customers, media, industry professionals and the like will always be very important in the continued success of our brand within this market. Wiley X has seen tremendous growth in the outdoor department, which obviously includes many market facets due to the breadth of our brand, but specifically within the fishing and polarised eyewear markets. Thus, a big part of what we want to accomplish at this year’s event is that continued branding and education of how and why WX brings more to the table than just polarised eyewear. For example, all of our polarised models encompass our Filter 8 lens technology that eliminates glare, provides 100 per cent polarisation and UV protection while enhancing visual acuity with hydrophobic and anti-reflective coatings. In addition, the WX Climate Control Series offers patented technology with their removable Facial Cavity Seals, which have been proven to not only block the users eyes from irritants such as wind, dust and debris, but also peripheral light. This allows our lenses to perform at peak levels and enhance polarisation. Again, WX offers key technologies such as these to give any outdoor enthusiast a clear advantage when on the water or out in the elements. Mads Grosell SAVAGE GEAR (SVENDSEN SPORT) SIX YEARS EXHIBITING We have to be at ICAST because it is the world’s biggest and best fishing tackle show. It is the global stage that we require to help continue to grow the Savage Gear brand. Besides that, we have loads of our international distributors that come to our stand to see our new products and we use the show as an opportunity to host a lot of sales meetings with our reps and sales groups. It’s a great meeting place. At this year’s event, it would be great if we could make it a hat-trick of awards – we have won awards in the last two years. For 2016, we have some very special products on display and we also plan to have a super-cool stand. It will be an ICAST to remember! Rachel Rao FRICHY (ART OF TOOLS) TWO YEARS EXHIBITING We hope to go deeply into the North American market, and know more about our current cooperators in USA, to talk and see directly of their products line, sales channels, store situation, and so on, so as to better support and work with them in future. ICAST will be a great chance for us to learn the forefront technology and trend in fishing industry, to get feedbacks and ideas from purchasers and end-users. We could also draw inspiration and ideas from worldwide excellent suppliers, so as to support our new products’ R&D works. We hope to search new markets and channels in traditional ready market, like the USA. With years of sales experience, we found the comprehensive supermarkets/chain convenience shops may be an uncompletely developed and potential market.
