Dear Members-

We at Wildwood Green want to thank you for your participation during the 2014 season. The

staff and I enjoyed all of the fun times we had during this past year’s events and look forward to

making more wonderful memories during 2015. The new season is upon us and we have an exciting

tournament schedule planned for you! This year’s schedule includes your favorites such as Couples

Golf, The Package Event Series and of course, the four major events. Please review the following

event information and plan your 2015 schedule accordingly. You will surely not want to miss out on

all the fun we will share this year!

Just as in 2014 we will be requiring all participants to have an established handicap recognized

by the USGA in the 2014 season. Handicapped events will be governed by USGA bylaws and

recommendations including adjusting course handicaps based on different slope and course ratings.

For more information on handicapping services and events or to sign up for your own GHIN handicap

please see a Golf Shop attendant today.

The Four Wildwood Green Major Events will kick off with the Spring Member-Member in

May followed by the Club Championships in June, the Fall Member-Member in September and the

Annual Battle at Ballybunion (Member-Guest) in October. We will pull out all the stops for these

events and look forward to another year of record breaking participation!

The 2015 season will look to build upon the events we introduced in 2014. We will be hosting

our Annual Match Play Championship throughout the 2015 season. The Match Play Championship

will be limited to 32 participants and will be flighted according to handicap. This event will give

participants a certain amount of time to complete their match and move on in their flight. The last two

standing will face off in two nine hole matches that will be played in succession. The winner will be

crowned 2015 Wildwood Green Match Play Champion. More information will be available through

the Golf Shop and through cyber communication in the coming weeks and months.

Package Event Information

We will look to improve upon the fun times we had in 2014 with the Package Event series. The

Package events will again be open to Accompanied Guests and we encourage participants to enjoy

these events with their friends, both members and non-members alike. Registration will be as an

individual or as a twosome and you will be paired with other members and guests who sign up. There

will be seven Package Events to participate in over the course of the year and the first event of the

season will be held in March. The Package Event Series can be prepaid for throughout the season or

participated in and paid for individually. *Please note the Package Events are four person team events. You may request to play with one other person and you will be paired with men and women of all

skill levels. We will accommodate any requests the best we can.

Social Events

Throughout the 2015 year we will host many social and dinner events. Social events will

include Texas Hold ‘Em tournaments as well as Bingo events, Thirsty Third Thursday events and

Bogey’s After Dark Dinner socials. We will also be hosting our 3rd Annual Summerfest in July. This

event is open to members of the club as well as Wildwood Green home owners. Summerfest is free to

attend for Wildwood Green Members and Home Owners and will feature food trucks, games, live

music and fun for all ages!

The Year’s Four Majors

Spring Member-Member

May 2nd and 3rd

2014 Defending Champions – Rich Bradley and Jack Short

The 2015 Major events will kick off with the Spring Member-Member beginning on May 2nd. The 2015 Spring

Member-Member will be highly anticipated with a fun weekend planned. The event will feature a Friday night pairings

party and social, two days of competition and an awards ceremony on Sunday. The format will be decided closer to the day

of the event. Be sure to grab your partner for this, the first Major Event of the season!

The Club Championships

June 27th and 28th

2014 Overall Defending Men’s Champion – Brandon Reece &

Defending Women’s Club Champion – Kelley Taylor

The most prestigious title at Wildwood Green has to be the title of Club Champion. This two-day Stroke Play

competition, which sees the club’s best golfers, will undoubtedly see great scores again in 2015. The Club Championships

will be held at the end of June and during prime golfing season. The Club Championships are open to all Wildwood Green

members and competition will be played from all tee markers. However, to be crowned the overall champion, you must

play the blue tee markers.

The Year’s Four Majors

The Fall Member-Member

September 26th and 27th

2014 Defending Champions – Will Patterson and Jeff Griffeth

The highly anticipated Fall Member-Member will be hosted over the weekend of September 26th. The format for

the Fall Member-Member is five, nine hole matches. Your team will be flighted according team handicap and points are

accumulated for each match. Depending on the number of teams per flight, you may play a “Par” man along with the other

players in your flight. There will be a possible ten points per match and each flight winner will be given a spot into a

sudden death playoff which will ultimately decide the overall champion. Be sure to grab your partner and sign up early as

this is always a highly anticipated event!

The Battle at Ballybunion, Member-Guest

October 10th and 11th

2014 Defending Champions – Jason Devine and Taylor Britt

The always anticipated and final major of the year is The Battle at Ballybunion. This annual member-guest will be

held over two exciting days in October. New for 2015 will be a combined event for both men and women. The event will

host both titles over the weekend and we invite you to grab a guest and sign up for this final major event of the season. The

staff will pull out all the stops for this weekend and will feature a par 3 shootout and Friday night pairings party, two days

of competition, awards ceremony and on-course contests throughout the weekend. The staff anticipates one of the biggest

crowds ever in 2015 and we look forward to your help in making this happen.

Couples Golf Each month beginning in April and ending in September we will host a Couples Golf Event. You and your

significant other are welcome to join us as we play nine holes of golf and enjoy a delicious dinner afterwards. The end of

the tournament season will feature a one day, Couples Member-Guest. The Couples Golf Events are a very fun time and

we had incredible participation the past few years.

The format for the Couples Events is a Four Person Team, Net Captain’s Choice. Two couples will be paired

together and a percentage of their team handicap is factored in to get their net scores. We will host closest to the pin

contests for both men and women and prizes will be available for each. Spouses who do not play golf are welcome to join

us for dinner.

2015 PGA Tour - Major Event Challenges

Throughout the year we will be hosting Major Championship Pools at Wildwood Green in conjunction

with the PGA Tour’s major events. These individual net challenges will begin two weeks before the Major

Championship’s first round and payout will be in Gift Certificates to Wildwood Green. The final opportunity

to enter the challenges will be on the Saturday of the major event at 12:00 PM noon. Results will be posted in

the Golf Shop during the week of the Championship and you may enter as many times as you want before the

cut off!

Rules and Information

Entry: $5 - Members may enter as many times as they like from two Saturday’s before the major event until Saturday of the major event at noon.

Format: Participants will use their full handicap and will turn in their attested scorecard to the golf

shop following their round. Members who enter the pool must have a USGA recognized and established

handicap. The net score of the participant will then be added to a professional's (chosen by blind draw) third and fourth round scores. The winners will be determined by the low 54 hole score and payout will be in gift certificates to the Golf Shop.

Payout: There will be a payout of 10% to the member who has the event champion as a partner

and 10% to a Member not in the money by blind draw.

The remaining purse will be paid out in gift certificates as follows: 1st Place -40% 2nd Place -30% 3rd Place - 20% 4th Place – 10%
