How to Log-in and complete O-Net Interest Profiler on Purple Briefcase

Step 1: Click here to open up Purple Briefcase’s sign in page.

Step 2: Select “New Student” to begin the sign in process.

Step 3: Enter in your student information to find your account and click the “Find Me” button.

**Note: If the program cannot find your account, create a pending accounting with the below box.

Step 4: If creating a pending accounting, enter in all information. The pending account will be approved within 24 hours of the next business day.

Step 5: Once your account has been approved, log-in to begin creating your profile and uploading a resume. You will use the “Returning User” option this time.

Step 6: Once logged into Purple Briefcase, you will use the “career path” tab from the list on the left to complete the O-Net Interest Profiler.

Step 7: Follow the prompts and answer questions to complete the Interest Profiler. Your first set of results consist of the types of careers you may be interested.

Step 8: Continue by selecting the Job Zone (preparation that is needed for that type of career) you may be interested.

Step 9: Click Next to see a list of careers that fit your interests and preparation level.

Step 10: Click one of the careers that you may be interested for in depth information about that career.

Congratulations! You have found your career path (maybe)…..

To receive LEAD credit, complete the reflection form with one of the suggested careers suggested for you.
