From the Gnomes Panel - Red/Gray (A):• Fussy cut (1) 20 ½” x 24 ½” panel.

From the Stripe - Red/White (B), cut:• (4) 2 ½” x 24 ½” WOF strips.

From the Snowflakes - White/Gray (C), cut:• (2) 2” x 27 ½” WOF strips.• (2) 2” x 26 ½” WOF strips. From the Snowflakes - Red (D), cut:• (3) 2” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 2” x 55 ½” strips.• (3) 2” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 2” x 54 ½” strips.• (2) 2” x 27 ½” WOF strips.• (2) 2” x 23 ½” WOF strips.• (2) 2” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (8) 2” x 10 ½” strips.

From the Groups of Gnomes - Gray/Red (E), cut:• (2) 9” x 27 ½” LOF strips.• (2) 9” x 23 ½” WOF strips from the remaining fabric, piece as needed.

From the Tossed Gnomes - White/Red (F), cut:• (1) 10 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (4) 10 ½” squares.

From the Plaid Set on Bias - Red/Gray (G), cut:• (3) 3” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 3” x 50 ½” strips.• (3) 3” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 3” x 51 ½” strips.• (7) 2 ½” x WOF strips for the binding.

From the Tossed Gnomes - Gray (H), cut:• (4) 6 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 6 ½” x 66 ½” strips.• (3) 6 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 6 ½” x 58 ½” strips.

From the Gnome Patch Allover - Red/Gray (Backing), cut:• (2) 78 x WOF strips for the backing. Sew the strips together and trim to make the 74” x 78” back.

Block Assembly1. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 24 ½” Fabric B strip to each side of the 20 ½” x 24 ½” Fabric A panel. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 24 ½” Fabric B strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric A panel. Trim the block to measure 23 ½” x 27 ½” to make the Center Block (Fig. 1).

Note: The arrows in Figures 2-5 represent the fabric print direction. Pay attention to the fabric orientations while assembling the units.2. Sew (1) 2” x 23 ½” Fabric D strip to the bottom of (1) 9” x 23 ½” Fabric E strip. Sew (1) 2” x 10 ½” Fabric D strip to each side of the Fabric E strip to make (1) Unit 1 strip (Fig. 2).

3. Sew (1) 2” x 23 ½” Fabric D strip to the top of (1) 9” x 23 ½” Fabric E strip. Sew (1) 2” x 10 ½” Fabric D strip to each side of the Fabric E strip to make (1) Unit 2 strip (Fig. 3).

Quilt Top Assembly(Follow the Quilt Layout while assembling the quilt top.)8. Sew (1) 2” x 27 ½” Fabric C strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 2” x 26 ½” Fabric C strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.

9. Sew the Side, Top and Bottom Borders to the Center Block.

10. Sew (1) 3” x 50 ½” Fabric G strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 3” x 51 ½” Fabric G strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.

11. Sew (1) 2” x 55 ½” Fabric D strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 2” x 54 ½” Fabric D strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.

12. Sew (1) 6 ½” x 58 ½” Fabric H strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 6 ½” x 66 ½” Fabric H strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block to make the quilt top.

13. Layer and quilt as desired.

14. Sew the (7) 2 ½” x WOF Fabric G strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.

15. Bind as desired.

4. Sew (1) 2” x 27 ½” Fabric D strip to the right side of (1) 9” x 27 ½” Fabric E strip. Sew (1) 2” x 10 ½” Fabric D strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric E strip to make the Left Side Border (Fig. 4).

5. Sew (1) 2” x 27 ½” Fabric D strip to the left side of (1) 9” x 27 ½” Fabric E strip. Sew (1) 2” x 10 ½” Fabric D strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric E strip to make the Right Side Border (Fig. 5).

6. Sew (1) 10 ½” Fabric F square to each end of (1) Unit 1 strip to the make the Top Border (Fig. 6).

7. Sew (1) 10 ½” Fabric F square to each end of (1) Unit 2 strip to the make the Bottom Border (Fig. 7).
