Statewide Voluntary Preschool Program (SWVPP) – 2007• The purpose of this preschool program legislation is to

provide an opportunity for all four-year-old children in the state of Iowa to enter school ready to learn.

• The SWVPP is only reaching only about 50% of the 4-year-olds in the Quad Cities.

Trinity Lutheran and SWVPP• 2008 – 17 students• 2013 – 67 students (72 available spots)

What does this mean for Trinity?School Year 2013-2014

• 102 preschool students

• 75% of our preschool families use one or two of these funding sources.

• 40% of families are unchurched

• 51% of students have not been baptized

These sources of funding are a blessing not only to these families, but also to us! The funding provides the opportunity for us to share the love of Christ.
