What do you mean? I am the
king!
Go search the old scrolls
What do the scrolls say?
The scripture says, He will be born in Bethlehem.
Go and find him so I can worship Him too! Come back
when you find Him!
Herod says to himself: I am rich, famous and live in a palace. All this
is mine!
The wise men leave Herod. They keep following the star.
The star stopped over the house. Where they find Mary, the Baby
Jesus, and Joseph
An angel warns them while they sleep, “Go home another way.”
(Matt 2:12) The wise men went home
another way.
The angel tells Joseph, Herod wants to kill
baby Jesus. (Matt 2:13-14)
Herod waits . . . the wise men do not return
. . . he is furious! What will he do?
“I know!” he says to himself, “I will send the
palace guard to find him.”
Joseph goes out to find a donkey
Quick! Get on the donkey – we are leaving for Egypt!
One day when Jesus was a preacher and teacher, He rode another donkey into
Jerusalem for a special feast.
The children shouted, “Hail, King Jesus.” (Matt 21:1-11)
I can’t wait to get home to Galilee.
When Jesus had grown into a boy in Egypt, God told Joseph and Mary to go home.
Obey His word with all your heart
because . . . (Psalm 119:34)
Seek Him with all your heart.
(Psalm 119:2)
Jesus did not want Herod’s throne or his palace. He wanted his heart.

On the third day He arose from the dead . . . the tomb is empty. He sits on heaven's throne as King Jesus (Hebrews 12:2).
