NEW YORK STATE APPROVED INFECTION CONTROL TRAINING: 3 HOURS This course is designed to review a multitude of diseases and infestations that occur in the workplace. This course will enable the practitioner to adequately understand the agents and their control thereby minimizing exposure to staff and to patients. A certificate issued upon completion of the course will meet the requirements of the New York State Department of Health Infection Control Training.Who should take this course? Dentists, dental hygienists, licensed practical nurses, optometrists, podiatrists, registered nurses, physicians, physician assistants and specialist assistants must complete course work or training every four years.Course fee is $49.
