1 Xello Instructions for Documenting Green Cord Hours Go to login.xello.world Log In Information: Username: NBR-XXXXXX (local ID) Password: MMDDYYYY (birth date) Click “Sign In” Students may be prompted to create a unique password. They may do so, if they wish, but we are encouraging them to keep their birth dates. Lists of students’ volunteer service activities were transferred from students’ Career Cruising accounts to their Xello accounts as work experience and the actual Green Cord Documentation Forms and the number of hours did not transfer. ALL HOURS ENTERED INTO CAREER CRUISING HAVE TO BE RE-ENTERED IN XELLO IN ORDER FOR HOURS TO SHOW UP ON THE FINAL REPORT. In making a transition to Xello there are a couple of things to consider: 1) If you have never uploaded hours/documents into Career Cruising skip to Step B. 2) If you kept paper copies of all of your hours skip to Step B and re-enter previously recorded hours and enter new hours earned into Xello. 3) If you need to access your hours in Career Cruising complete both Step A and B. 1) Students log in to their Xello accounts at login.xello.world

3) Click on “Log in to Career Cruising:

4) Click “I Agree” in the pop-up box.

5) Students will be connected to their Career Cruising dashboard. Click on “Build My

Resume”me.”

Click on the edit icon for “Volunteer Experience.”

6) Click on the file name under the Volunteer Experience to view the scanned copy of the Green Cord document stored in the student’s Career Cruising account. Print a copy of the document for rescanning and uploading into student’s Xello account. You can also save as a PDF to upload if you want to skip the scanning part.

STEP B - Adding Green Cord information and documentation to Xello

1) Go to student’s Xello dashboard and click on “About Me” in the toolbar.

2) Scroll down to black box “Experiences” and click on “Volunteer.”

3) Fill in details under “Volunteer Experience.” Number of Service Hours is included in form. You

can’t use a decimal in your number so round down. (Example – 19.5 hours would by 19 hours). You will document the additional ½ hour below. Click Save.

4) To upload a scanned document of service hours, a student must go back to the “About Me” page

and upload document in their storyboard.

5) Onceyouuploadyourdocumenttypeintheactualnumberofhoursinthe“Whythisisimportanttoyou”box.
