In 2010 and 2011, Xerox launched the 26"/660 mm sheet size along with Matte Dry Ink to again show the market our ability to listen to our customers and deliver innovations on those needs.

With the automation of the iGen4® and new innovations made possible by iGen4 EXP, Xerox truly has the offering for customers who focus on profitability by increasing the number of billable jobs and invoices they can process through their shop per day.

The new iGen™ 150 builds on the productivity of the iGen4 EXP. We have taken the effective print rate of the iGen4 platform and increased it 25% across all paper sizes and made the Pitch Mode Optimization a standard offering.

In addition, productivity has been increased through the inclusion of a new stacker that enables the inline stacking of 26"/660 mm sheets along with the new Xerox® IntegratedPLUS Finishing Solution for Booklets. A new automated Image on Paper setup routine uses the Auto Density Control’s full width array sensor to help customers reduce setup time and continues to emphasize our focus on true productivity as demonstrated by the Spencer Labs Report.

The iGen platform produces excellent quality output across the family. The iGen 150 has a new 2400 x 2400 dpi imaging system and 16-beam VSCEL ROS that are the key enablers to faster speed. The symmetrical image path also allows for new line screens that are similar to the iGen4 line screens but with angles that look more like offset line screens. The increased resolution will yield greater detail and shape in some images. Some customers may prefer the look of the new screens. The combination of the iGen family together provides a powerful 1-2-3 punch in the market to beat the competition and provide more value to our customers.
