Knitting Needles/Myra’s Knitting Mavens Wednesday, January 17 • 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Knit, crochet and kibbitz for a good cause - sending handmade caps to IDF soldiers in Israel and to veterans through Operation Gratitude, as well as baby blankets to newborns and cancer patients in local and Israeli hospitals. Renamed in honor of beloved member Myra Shapiro, this group formerly known as "Knitting Needles" is now called "Myra's Knitting Mavens" in Myra's memory.
