THE OBJECTIVE Fedrigoni’s ‘imaginative colours’ launched in october 2011. The challenge was to create a campaign that would ensure the entire UK design industry heard about the paper selection tool, and was inspired to use the papers for their very next project. OUR SOLUTION Our solution was to create a promotional booklet for both the selection tool and Fedrigoni themselves that could be mailed out to design agencies within the UK informing them of the benefits of the Imaginative colours swatch book. This would be sent in a pack along with a promotional gift targeted at designers working in the studios. THE OBJECTIVEFedrigoni’s ‘imaginative colours’ launched in october 2011.The challenge was to create a campaign that would ensure the entire UK design industry heard about the paper selection tool, and was inspired to use the papers for their very next project.

OUR SOLUTIONOur solution was to create a promotional booklet for both the selection tool and Fedrigoni themselves that could be mailed out to design agencies within the UK informing them of the benefits of the Imaginative colours swatch book. This would be sent in a pack along with a promotional gift targeted at designers working in the studios.

1.1. shot of all the products including the Imaginative colours promotional sample book, coasters and packaging, and the outer sleeve to package and protect the other items for mailing.

3.

2. The pack as it would be delivered; in the form of a mail out to selected, print based, design agencies and creatives.

3. Image of the pack showing scale, about the same size as a hard back A5 book. This wouldn’t be a difficult or expensive item to send as a mail out.

Our final product consists of two components (sample book & coaster pack) that would be sent out to design agencies; our target audience, in the form of a mail out. These agencies would be specifically selected in order to keep our focus on print based designers.

5.

1. A spread with information about the selection tool.

2. A spread from the forward section of the book focusing on the stock from the Imaginative colours swatch book.

3. Shows the front of the book and the division into sections. The front section acting as a series of samples and the back, informative pages divided using tabbed edges.

4. This shows the product spread from the back, outlining products Fedrigoni offer.

5. Detail of the edge of the book and the effect created by the number of coloured stocks used.

The main element of the mail out would be this sample book. It contains a variety of stocks from the imaginative colours selection tool and information about Fedrigoni.

COASTERS3.1. 2.

3.

1. Detail shot of the coasters, each pack would contain four coasters, each of the four using a different colour way.

2. Shot of the coaster in action; shows the size against a mug. The coasters resemble the Fedrigoni shield so that there is always something on a designers desk to remind them of Fedrigoni.

3. A shot of the coaster package, making use of a cutout to showcase the gradient.

4. This shows in detail a stack of the coasters.

The second element of the mail out pack is simply a package containing a set of coasters produced with the same visual aesthetic. The idea being something that will always be on your desk to remind you of Fedrigoni even when the sample book is not .
