Every day, Yeşilırmak Elektirik Dağıtım A.Ş. (YEDAŞ) works hard to provide electricity to the Turkish provinces of Samsun, Ordu, Çorum, Amasya, and Sinop. YEDAŞ has a vision to become one of the top European companies for corporate and operational excellence by 2019, and it prides itself on its innovative international corporate structure, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. As the company faced the challenge of unbundling into two independent companies, due to new government regulations, it also saw an opportunity to improve its corporate IT structure.

YEDAŞ engaged SAP ActiveEmbedded services to safeguard the business-critical ®unbundling project and deployed SAP Solution Manager to provide better control over SAP solutions, with technical monitoring functionalities. The Digital Business Services organization at SAP provided implementation support, and the company upgraded its existing SAP ERP and SAP Customer Relationship Management applications. Now, YEDAŞ has faster business processes, more control over its solutions, and is achieving its goals of corporate and operational excellence.
