Your main tasks will be:• support our distributors and customers in the Asia-Pacific Area like China, Taiwan, Singapur, South Korea et al• generate leads, inquiries and profitable order intake in this area to increase our market share• collaborate with regional sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide regional sales support.• introduce products and solutions in the field of metrology and report market needs • processing incoming inquiries and timely preparation of offers• organization of test measurements and sample management• active participation in market analysis and identification of market potential beyond current business• participation in trade fairs and customer training courses

For this position you have:• a physical-technical education and / or a study, most likely in the field of

mechanical engineering or from the similar field• substantial professional experience and very good expertise, a minimum of 3

years in Technical Sale• knowledge in surface physics and measurement techniques in the field of

surface metrology• fluent English and Asian language will set your part • With a sound understanding of the diverse cultures across Asia, and ability

to converse in any of the Asian language

Moreover you are:• used to working independently and are very quality-conscious• absolutely reliable and should be able to withstand heavy workload• communicative, able to work in a team and demonstrate a high level of commitment• Interpersonal and communication skills (presentation, negotiation skills)• distinctly customer-oriented and intercultural interested

Sales Engineer APAC (m/w/d)
