With the coming Presidential Elections, many of us will share many thoughts/opinions / news/photos..etc, how this to be utilized to serve your career image through the social media.Yes it is your personal page and it is your right to express and share whatever you want – think twice before pressing the button SHARE or SEND- here are some points we have to take into consideration when using the social network in this special time:

Why you need it You in the search engines : while you are a job seeker searching for people working in the prospected company or you are an employer searching for your employee- to-be , just do this simple exercise : google your name and google your email address ; now you are able to judge and filter- what to be seen to the public.You are the CEO in the near future, think of yourself this way now, and each time you are going to comment /share or post; you are building your entity, in front of your network who would be a customer, employee or a co-worker.

Do’s & Don’ts

Sharing your Political Point of view : generally is not allowed to be expressed in most of the working environment, however when expressing this at your personal social media : it would take many forms that serves your career : – Follow your work environment rules and don’t discuss /

express any political issues in the social media– Be neutral- and not biased to any direction.– Be who you are & show your direction and have the rules to

support your image :no bad words, no curses, no pre- judge.•  

Verification Verify the source before sharing:

Many rumors come at the peak times that the country goes through - already we examined a lot. Share after you google for the source and many other sources to support your post.Only share the piece of news that you have the source attached to it.Think twice, then another time before posting .
