4. Install protective grounding cable

A. Stick two ends of the grounding cable with rectangle labels as temporary marker.

B. Lead the grounding cables along wiring ladder and binding position in the cabinet into the vicinity of the grounding point of the device.

& Remark:

In case the grounding cable of the chassis directly connects with grounding bar of the customer, the grounding cable and power cable can be laid together along the cable rack of the equipment room & cabling path in the cabinet.

Cables should be bundled up once every 100 mm inside the cabinet.

IMPORTANT: 1. If the cabinet is designed with dedicated grounding point, first connect it with

the grounding point of the chassis, and then it with grounding bar of the equipment room. If not, connect the point of the chassis directly to the grounding bar of the equipment room.

2. For a cabinet standing in the middle of a row of cabinets, it will be difficult to install protective grounding cable (for there are other cabinets around it) if the chassis has been already installed. In this case, therefore, first lay the grounding cables in the cabinet, and then bundle up them along the cabling position and finally put the chassis on the cabinet.

3. Adopt upward or downward wiring to install the protective grounding cables (same to the power cables). Here we introduce upward mode.
