The Company was formed in 2009 with the intent to continue to supply our customer contacts with the same technical level and quality product, but under a new brand.

This would be achieved initially through outsourcing design and manufacture of which moving forward would be supplied from within Zzuhl. Our technical, design, manufacturing knowledge and experience is drawn from three decades of working within pedigree blue chip motorsport companies such as Cosworth, Pankl and Ilmor.

We operate from the UK and Austria but our customer base stretches not only through Europe but across the Atlantic and as far as Japan & Australia. This has enabled Zzuhl to grow through the years in many different countries and environments, regardless of recession or booming economies.

Connecting RodsThe manufacture of a high strength steel and titanium racing connecting rod with the ability to also produce large OEM volumes and prototyping is no mean feat, to have the customer base for these markets as a relatively new company, is something we are extremely proud of.

All design aspects are carried out within Zzuhl,utilising the latest CAD software for designs and finite element analysis. This coupled withdecades of experience in all automotive andracing sectors from F1, Nascar to grass rootsracing and cost sensitive OEM production,ensures Zzuhl have the knowledge andprofessionalism to cater for any connectingrod programme. Design is key in all aspects of engineering, thefoundation of what limits the extremes of yourcomponent design and achieve the maximumpotential is the material selection and heattreatment process. This has been a core focalpoint in ensuring our forgings can cater notonly for highly stressed/loaded components-

but also acknowledge and researchthe highest/cleanest grade ofmaterials to suit lower budgetapplications. This is a key factor inbeing diverse and enabling us to workat all professional levels in theindustry. Our basic grade steel forgingis 1500Mpa with the higherspecification climbing to beyond2100Mpa for the premier end ofthe market.

Zzuhl have vigorously ensured all aspects of our product has been considered from designs, to materials and is why we have our own inventory of bolts of which have been designed in house with careful material selection.

This was key as Zzuhl were notsatisfied with using an off the shelf boltproduct and again gave us moreflexibility and technically better options to the customer. We can supply Zzuhl bolts as a singular component if required.
