Ihopeeveryonehadagreatsummer.Itseemslikeitwentbywaytoofastthisyear.TheBearBranch

ElementaryPTAwouldliketoespeciallywelcomeallthenewstudentsandfamiliestoourcampus.Wealso

extendaheartywelcomebacktoreturningstudentsaswell.

ForthosewhohadachancetoattendtheWelcomeCoffeethismorning,yousawfirsthandhowactiveour

PTAiswithchairpersonseagertomeetandrecruitvolunteersforourvariousprogramsscheduled

throughouttheyear.Forthosewhowerenotabletoattend,donotfear!Thereisstillplentyoftimeto

signupandvolunteertohelpoutinsomanyareasattheschoolandevenonthePTAboard.Wehaveafew

keyboardpositionsstillopen,includingHomeroomRepresentative,MemoryBook,Programs,andWays

&Means.Wealsoneedcommitteechairs(nonboardmembers)forPublicity,ParentSafety,Art

Masterpiece,Science&EngineeringFair,andSantasWorkshop.Ifweareunabletofillthesepositions,

theresachancewemightnothavetheprograms.OurPTAboardandcommitteechairsareallcommittedtotheirprojects,andweneedadditionalenthusiasticvolunteerstohelprounditout.

WealsoneedseveralfolkstohelpourFallFestchairpersonKimInmaninthesejobs:setup/cleanup,games,silentauction,andvolunteercoordinator.ThisfunfilledfamilyeventissetforFriday,November5.
