AIESECer Needs
Introduction
This presentation aims to give you
a clear vision about our strategic
setting for learning in Colombia.
We will explain all the concepts
we used for our plan and what is
their meaning for the
Organization performance to this
day and in the upcoming years.
What Is “Learning”
Learning, learning, learning. This word has been running in our lives for at least a year in a half… but, what is learning after all?

Learning, Learning, Learning…
All the processes where you
acquire skills and
experiences is called
learning. The only way to
prove that you have learned
something, is when you apply
that experience and Skills in
your life.
What is “Learning in AIESEC”
In AIESEC, and based on what
we said before (basic stuff,
isn't it) Learning is All the
skills and experience you
gain while living the AIESEC
Experience.
Our Meaning Of “AIESEC Individual”
An AIESEC individual is a
person that joins AIESEC
in one of this three ways:
1. As a member
2. As an SN
3. As a Trainee in a Foreign
Country
AIESEC Individual
The AIESEC Individual main
goal is to become a Change
Agent who is making a
positive impact in society. All
his/her experience in
AIESEC will be focused on
that .
Our Ideal Setup for This process…
We want all our AIESEC
Individuals to become change
agents and live a learning
process that would help them
achieve that and ensure that
the organization will grow.
The Three Dimensions of AIESEC in
Colombia
• We focus all AIESEC Learning
Experiences in three Areas (Three
Dimensions):
– AIESEC Development
– Personal Development
– Professional Development
AIESEC Development
• Through the implementation of
the National Membership Strategy
we aim to develop AIESECers
that have all the knowledge and
skills in order to keep the
organization running.
Personal Development
• We will develop three Leadership
Characteristics on our Members:
– Entrepreneurship
– Cultural Understanding
– Social Responsibility
• This part of the Learning Structure in
Colombia is what we used to Call
‘’Learning’’ in our Country. Now is just
a part of it. And we will work on it to
have the more activities we can.
Professional
Development
• There are two ways of professional development in the AIESEC Learning Experience. – Professional Exchange: Every member must
have a professional exchange experience. It doesn’t matter at what time during your AIESEC Experience
– Professional Skills: Acquired while your being an AIESEC Member, skills such as: Presentation Skills, marketing skills, project management, organizational management, etc. This skills will be acquired while running exchanges!!!

whole AIESEC Career. You will learn
through the development of every Activity
you do as an AIESECer (Trainee or
member… it doesn’t matter). Your
AIESEC experience is happening right
