ME 802 Letter to IEEE SA-SB Nikolich 10 03:35 PM

    Nikolich presented ec-17-0050-00-00EC-802-ec-response-to-sasb.pdf (attached).

The EC then participated in the time-honored tradition of wordsmithing on the floor. The Recording Secretary noticed that Gilb did not demonstrate his normal tenacity in ensuring that the document met his specific criteria. Others however were up to the task.

The Chair asked Gilb to explain the goals of the following straw polls shown in EC-17-49-r01, as 802 had been asked if actions taken had been sufficient. See slides from https://mentor.ieee.org/802-ec/dcn/17/ec-17-0049-01-00EC-tgax-dominance-followup.pdf

Thompson was considered part of the unconflicted group.

It was agreed that vote would be taken openly.

    Straw Poll

Were the actions taken by the IEEE 802 Executive Committee regarding the finding of dominance in IEEE 802.11ax effective and sufficient?

IEEE 802 EC Members previously declared as unconflicted –Y/N 9/2
