Trench Stability Calculations Due To Machinery Surhcarge 47kPa (8m)
GGU TRENCH is a trench stability program specially developed for diaphragm wall
excavations. It adopts the so-called shoulder theory as defined in the DIN 4126 standard.
This employs a finite, triangular earth pressure wedge. The friction forces generated on
both flanks of the wedge are uti lized for consideration of equilibrium conditions.
