Faculty Andy Ceniceros, MBB, MSRS (R), RDMS, is the executive director clinical operations at Mercy Hospital Fort Smith, Arkansas the sixth largest Catholic Healthcare System in North America. Andy is a senior leader with excellent operational skills which he has employed to lead and coach Mercy’s Medical Centers through significant transformations and deliver dramatic improvements across a spectrum of healthcare operations.

For more than 19 years at Mercy, Andy has held a series of increasingly responsible positions (GE Trained: change agent, master change agent, lean six sigma black belt & lean six sigma master black belt) to ultimately lead and coach Mercy Health System St. Louis in the Lean Performance System. Andy is experienced in process improvement within the following areas of healthcare: administration, emergency department, imaging, laboratory, labor and delivery, clinical nursing, quality, surgery, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, infu-sion services, clinic offices, business offices, bulk stores, sterile processing, finance, oncology and housekeep-ing. BJ Himes, vice president of sales and marketing, joined QualChoice in 2005 as a national sales manager and was promoted to vice president of sales and marketing in 2007. Her responsibilities include executive oversight for risk business including individual and group as well as administrative services for ASO clients. In addition, she manages agent/broker relationships, new product development and works closely with the Arkansas state and public school employees’ group program. A native of North Little Rock, BJ received her degree from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. With more than 20 years experience in sales and marketing, her previous positions in the healthcare industry included three years as a national sales director for HealthSCOPE Benefits, a third party administrator, and more than seven years with CIGNA as new business manager. C.J. Newton, MSN, RN, is the director of education and clinical excellence for Conway Regional Health System .She. has bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in nursing from the University of Central Arkansas and over 20 years of experience in professional development roles. She is an active member of the Arkansas Nurses Association and in the Arkansas Action Coalition for the Future of Nursing Campaign for Action. C.J. serves as the HR chapter champion and primary point of contact for compliance with The Joint Commission’s HR standards at Conway Regional. She also led the organization’s application process for the Arkansas Gover-nor’s Quality Award in 2013 and 2014.

Continuing Education Certificates of attendance for 4.5 education hours will be issued to all registrants attending the entire conference. Cancellation and Refund Policy If cancellations are received after April 3, 2015 50% of the registration fee is refundable. Registrants who cancel the day of the program, or fail to attend, must pay the entire fee. Registrants unable to attend may send an alternate. If the alternate is not a member, the non-member registration fee will be required. Registrations that are phoned in or faxed are subject to the same cancellation policy. Comfort Level We realize that everyone’s comfort level is different. Please bring a jacket/sweater in case the room is too cool for your comfort. Inclement Weather If inclement weather threatens, please call the AHA headquarters at 501-224-7878. A message will inform you if the workshop has been postponed. Directions to White County Medical Center - Hubach B & D Conference Center Drive to Searcy on highway 67/167. Take exit 46 and go west on Race Avenue for approximately three blocks (0.4mi). The hospital is on the right. Continue past the hospital and past the ER and turn right to enter the parking lot of Hubach Conference Center. You will then enter the building and take the elevator down a floor to the conference rooms B & D. Please see the map that accompanies this program.
