Event Overview

AWS Summits are free, one-day events hosted in major cities around the world. The

events are targeted to technical end-users and technology leaders who are in the

planning stages of their business and looking for solutions on successfully navigating or

growing their business on the AWS Cloud.

In the US, AWS Summits will feature a keynote address by SVP Andy Jassy (SF) and

Amazon CTO Dr. Werner Vogels (NY), customer presentations on Cloud Computing, and

technical sessions led by AWS engineers. Attendees will learn best practices on

migration, monitoring cloud resources, optimizing performance, managing security,

application migration, and cutting costs through breakout sessions and hands-on labs.

Attendees will also have opportunities to meet AWS staff and partners, and get questions

answered.
