The following verse encourages us that even though it may feel like a slow process according to our time table, God’s vision WILL take place and will NOT be delayed. What a wonderful promise that gives us all hope, peace, and a powerful sense of direction. The theme for Laconia Foursquare Church in 2018 is, “Press IN, Press ON, Press UP, Press OUT.” 1 Corinthians 12 tells us that you and I are the Body of Christ. Together, we are a vital part of His family. Allow me to “make the vision plain” so we can grab hold and run with it.

PRESS IN We EMBRACE the kingdom of God—the presence of Jesus our Savior because God is FOR us. PRESSING IN to all God has for us through the discovery and activation of Biblical principles will be the focus of the first quarter of 2018.

PRESS ON We ADVANCE the kingdom of God through the anointing of the Holy Spirit because God is IN us. We will actively PRESS ON as we pursue Jesus and the work of the Holy Spirit in and through us and focus on advancing God’s kingdom through activating spiritual gifts and other Biblical principles.

PRESS UP We PRACTICE the kingdom of God through the ministry of Jesus our Healer because God works THROUGH us. Throughout the third quarter of the year, we will look at the fruit of the Spirit and will focus on drawing closer to Jesus as we become more like Jesus.

PRESS OUT We BUILD the kingdom of God by the power of God because His kingdom is one that is not only preached about, but one that has the evidence and demonstration of His power. Through the final quarter of the year, the themes from all year will be woven together.

Let’s join together and pray that the Lord surpasses our expectations for this year! Let’s see what the Lord will do through us. Let’s press in, press on, press up and press out together!

2017 was a year of transition I know this is stating the obvious, but transition usually causes any number of responses in us. We dig in, we run, we ask questions, we pray, we move, we connect more deeply with others. I think you get the picture.

You may have experienced some, or all of these realities last year. For us, on September 1, LFC transitioned from being a campus of Grace Capital Church in Pembroke to a stand-alone Foursquare Church. My family and I moved from the Golden State to the Granite State. All this transition has been orchestrated by the Holy Spirit to advance the kingdom of God in and through us together. This report represents a look back at God’s faithfulness in 2017 as we look forward to God’s promises in 2018. As this information is presented to you, on behalf of the church staff, council and leadership, I want to say, “thank you” for your continued faithfulness to see God’s kingdom advance in and through us. Please consider making this report a point of thankfulness and prayer as we continue to minister together to see God’s kingdom come as His will is done. I am filled with expectancy for 2018 as we Press In, Press On, Press Up, and Press Out together. Let’s continue to minister in the unity of the Holy Spirit to see everyone we come in contact with transformed by God’s miraculous life-changing power. Onward & Upward,
