Financial Report

An Exciting Beginning...Over the past year, we have been working tirelessly to care for those in our community who need help. By putting children and families at the center of our work, we are truly creating long-term change that will impact generations to come.

We are very proud of the progress we are making together. None of this is possible without the commitment from our network of community resources, the dedicated service of our volunteers, and the generosity of our donors.

Because of you, we have improved the lives of countless people. Every number has a name, and every name has a story. We are fighting for each one, together.

This annual report serves as a reflection of our work over the past year, adding to the 80 plus years of service to our community.

We hope you will join us and the rest of the United Way team as we write the next chapter of our history.

Please visit our website at uwce.org to learn more and find out how you can be a force for good and change the odds for kids and families in our community.

Together, we can do more!

“One of the wonderful realities of a United Way campaign is that it is a massive community effort, with many hands pulling toward a singular goal – to improve the lives of our friends and neighbors. Through our work with United Way, more children enrolled in affordable, high-quality education, more adults obtained and maintained employment, and more seniors received hot meals and groceries.”

Hershel V. Jenkins left a legacy of giving.

His commitment to our community was

evidenced by his generous gift of a

$500,000 trust fund for United Way in

1955. His bequest allows almost all of the annual fundraising to directly help people in need. Our community owes a tremendous debt of gratitude to Herschel V. Jenkins for his philanthropic

foresight. We invite you to contribute to that

same legacy by joining the United Way Legacy

Giving Society.
