DEACTIVATION | For even better fuel economy,

the MAZDA6 GS and GS-L come with a SKYACTIV-G

2.5 L equipped with a new Cylinder Deactivation*

system that automatically shuts down two of the

cylinders in light-load situations such as when cruising

at a constant speed.

SKYACTIV-G 2.5 T DYNAMIC PRESSURE

TURBO SYSTEM | Mazda’s industry-first Dynamic

Pressure Turbo engine† delivers a boost in both horsepower

(227 hp)� and torque (310 lb ft). Extra power is provided by

using a small inlet port to force air into its turbocharger,

akin to how water velocity increases when putting a thumb

over a hose. GT and Signature models and optional on GS-L.

SIGNATURE STYLE | We’ve reconfigured MAZDA6 trim levels to deliver more of what drivers demand. The new GS-L trim comes

with leather upholstery, moonroof, heated steering wheel and a matrix of our i-ACTIVSENSE safety features‡. The new Signature model

boasts supple interior styling with Nappa leather upholstery, Ultrasuede® and Sen wood accents and 360° View Monitor. Whichever model

you choose, the MAZDA6 line-up has been reimagined to provide a sophisticated and calming environment.

hour, the Forward Sensing Camera (FSC)

detects objects ahead and Smart City Brake

Support prepares the vehicle by adjusting

brake pads closer to the disc. If no driver

action is taken, the system automatically

applies the brakes.

Now standard on all models, the Advanced

Blind Spot Monitoring uses radar sensors to

detect objects in your left or right blind spots.

The system then alerts you with a warning

light that appears in the appropriate side

mirror. If you signal a lane change while an

object is in your blind spot, the light blinks

and a cabin warning chime sounds.

The Adaptive Front-lighting System� is

specifically designed to help you see around

corners at night. As you turn into a corner,

the headlights move up to 15° in the direction

of your turn, thereby improving visibility and

allowing you to spot potential hazards and

dangers ahead.
