Hi Members Sitting here trying to write something positive and inspiring in this time we are all going through. It is hard to believe that we were at club night just a couple of weeks ago and now we are in lock down. If you feel you would like to keep in touch with the club over the next month then a challenge for you all is to go and find something creepy crawly in your back yard to photograph and share, then email through to President or Secretary and we will share with everyone. If you want to participate, it won’t be judged, but will help keep us practicing our photography. Our club is again being sponsored by Harvey Normans in Manukau. We have been given some wonderful gifts from them to use as prizes or to sell or something within the club. The committee will discuss how we will do this in time. Please when we get through this, support Harvey Norman Photo centre when you can, they have been very generous to us. This is a quote I have found on the internet and feel that it is very appropriate for these times . . . “Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving.” So I hope you all feel those hugs that Nive gives you all when you come to club each month. I now know how worthwhile they really are. A massive thank you to Lynn for helping putting a slide show together with results from the judge for our April club night.
