Girl ScoutFirst Headquarters

330 Drayton Street, Savannah, GA The Girl Scout First Headquarters building, for-merly the carriage house for Juliette Low’s adult home and early troop meeting space, has been serving Girl Scouts since 1912 and was willed to the Girl Scouts upon Juliette’s death in 1927. First Headquarters, a National Historic Land-mark, is owned and operated by Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia, and it now houses the coun-cil’s archives and serves as a Girl Scout muse-um and program activity center offering inter-active educational experiences for Girl Scouts and the community. Tours and daily programs are available throughout the year.

HOURS Sept. - May: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm (Mon, Tues, Thur-Sat)

June - August: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm (Mon-Sat)

1912 Rose Dhu Road, Savannah, GA Located on Savannah’s south side on Rose Dhu Island, Camp Low offers over 300 acres of magnolia trees more than 200 years old, cedar trees more than 500 years old and camping facilities. The camp can house up to 150 individuals in either rustic cabins or plat-form tents. Also available is Juliette’s Cottage, a small, two-bedroom home that can sleep 8-10. Climate-controlled facilities at the camp include a large dining hall and kitchen, craft building, and three unit houses. Camp Low can provide multiple program sites for visiting troops during any weather. There is an archery range, low ropes course, climbing wall with zip line, large swimming pool, volley ball court, and canoes. Camp Low is the perfect place to experience camping or just stay over while visiting Savannah.

Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace

10 East Oglethorpe Avenue, Savannah, GA Juliette Gordon Low originally founded the Girl Scouts in Savannah on March 12, 1912. Her Birthplace is a National Historic Landmarkowned and operated by Girl Scouts of the USA. It now serves as a National Girl Scout Program Center and a historic house museum. The Birthplace is a primary destination for Girl Scouts and for the general public. Guided tours and special programs are available throughout the year. HOURS We welcome walk-in visitors for tours Mon-day through Saturday from 10:15 am-4:15 pm based on availability. On days when we have visiting Girl Scout troops, our first tour begins at 12:15 pm. Girl Scout programs take place in the morning.Store Hours: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm (Mon-Sat)
