The Hume Medicare Local (HML) provides leadership in the planning and delivery of primary healthcare throughout North East Victoria and Southern NSW. The HML is presently seeking to employ four Child Mental Health Clinicians within the catchment area.
The role of the Child Mental Health Clinicians is to work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver the HML Access to Allied Psychological Services (ATAPS) ‘Heads Up’ service in a clinical environment. The role will work closely with GP’s and secondary provisional referrers to provide short term Focused Psychological Strategies and generalist counseling to eligible children under 12 years of age.
