BACKGROUND

Dessus Dessous has a beautiful history. It is that of a bold woman with apassion for fine lingerie seeking to bring joy to women of all shapes andsizes. Dessus Dessous’ history is unique and atypical. It all began with a boldwoman who believed in her entrepreneurial abilities to transform herpassion for lingerie into a flourishing company, all the while maintaining itsvalues: Closeness, high quality standards and leading expertise, all in awarm and friendly atmosphere. In 1989, Christine Stessels founded a lovely little boutique in Lunel (which,at the time, was already called “Dessus Dessous Lingerie”!) Her goal? Tocreate a warm and inviting space offering a hand-picked selection ofpremium lingerie. She wanted women to choose from the best and latesttrends in lingerie, all while feeling and privileged and pampered. And… that was just the start of a great adventure! At the start of the newcentury, Christine Stessels, always forward-thinking, decided to launch herown online lingerie site. This bold and innovative move marked a realturning point for the “small local boutique” and for the multi-brand lingeriesales industry. Over the course of the years, Dessus-Dessous.fr has become the toppremium lingerie site in France and is seducing more and moreinternational customers every day. Our rise has been constant, with ournumber of employees increasing 10-fold. Today, we are the #1 multi-brand lingerie site in France. June 2018 marked the start of a new era when Dessus Dessousintegrated into the European Lingerie Group, a major European player inthe world of lingerie. This gave Dessus Dessous an internationaldimension. Our goal is the same as ever. Every year, Dessus-Dessous.fr was able to rise in the rankings as a resultof the company's growing sales figures. 2018 - Dessus-Dessous.fr was ranked among the listof retail sites providing the best customer experienceby Capital magazine (April 2018), compiled incollaboration with research institute Statista.
