PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE Last Wednesday our school P&C held their AGM to elect executive and role bearers for the next 12 months. The new executive team for 2020 is as follows; Travis Milton - President Leanne Mather and Amy Baulch - Vice-Presidents Jess Hoey – Secretary Sharon Tuckett - Treasurer Jane Wadley - Merit Selection Jane Chobdzynski - Canteen Paula Crane - Uniform Shop Amy Baulch - Fundraising Congratulations to all our new P&C executive team! Thank you to Amy Baulch, our outgoing President, who has done a wonderful job as President for the past 3 years. It was wonderful to see many new faces and I would encourage parents to attend and take the opportunity to participate in a range of fundraising activities that support the students and the staff of the school that P&C will run in the coming months. Congratulations to the 23 students who represented North Wagga Public School with pride at the recent District Swimming Carnival. The following students will be representing our school at the Regional Swimming Carnival in Albury tomorrow in individual events: Reegan Edwards, Baylee Edwards, Harrison Fisher, Isla Galloway, Isabelle Flight and Rachel Ranby. We wish you all the best of luck. Clean Up Australia Day was a great way for North Wagga students to learn about the impact of rubbish on their local environment while playing an active role in their community. Students and teachers worked together to clean up an area in and around the school grounds. The students certainly made the school and it’s surrounds pristine.

Students in Years 4-6 are invited to participate in the Tell Them From Me Surveys that will be conducted this term and Term 3. The surveys provide valuable insight and feedback from students that inform our decision making to improve how we support educational opportunities in our school. Further information will follow in the coming weeks, including an ‘opt out’ note for parents to sign if they do not want their child to participate.

Just a reminder to our parents and carers that if you have concerns regarding your child, the first contact should always be with your child’s teacher. If following this, there are still concerns, parents next port of call should be to the Stage Assistant Principals: Early Stage 1/Stage 1: Mrs Lauren Librando Stage 2: Mrs Virginia Quilliam Stage 3: Ms Atlanta Hilton If concerns from this point cannot be resolved, or for any issues regarding policies or procedures, parents and carers are welcome to contact the office to make an appointment to see me.

Have a fabulous week.

Trudy Standley Principal

We hope you enjoy looking at some of our artworks and reading about the interesting history of Henri
