ADEC Visits Al Ain University of Science and Technology’s New Campus –Abu DhabiDr. Noor Aldeen Atatreh AAU Chancellor, Prof. Ghaleb Awad Refae, AAU President, and Prof.Abdul HafeezBelarbi, AAU Vice President, greeted a delegation from the Abu Dhabi Education Council in the new campus of Al Ain University of Science and Technology scheduled to open soon in Mohammed Bin Zayed City –Abu Dhabi.
The delegates had an inspection site visit to the new campus, Abu Dhabi branch, to evaluate the building if it is identical to the specifications determined by the Abu Dhabi Education Council, including: the readiness of the building in terms of adequate classrooms and services, and provide a comfortableenvironment for the students, in addition to the application of quality and community service assurance standards.
AAU President welcomes the freshman students for the second semester of the academic year 2015-2016In the framework of its keenness to the new students, The Deanship of Students Affairs at Al Ain University of Science and Technology –Al Ain Campus- held the first guiding meeting with the freshman students on the occasion of the second semester starting of the academic year 2015-2016 with Prof. Ghalib Al Refae, University’s President, and Dr. Ibtihal Mahmoud Abu Rizk, Dean of Student Affairs and Director of Development & Follow-up.
Prof. Ghaleb Al Refae welcomed the new students expressing his happiness of students joining to Al Ain University of Science and Technology, who will be the focus of attention by the University Administration and staff. Moreover, the University seeks to provide services for the students to ensure a suitable atmosphere for studying.

Al Ain University of Science and Technology President welcomed The Board of Trustees in Ningxia International Language CollegeProf. Ghaleb A. AL Refae, President of Al Ain University of Science and Technology, welcomed Mr. Abdu Rahman Yu, Chairman of the Board of Trustees in Ningxia International Language College, in coordination with the Association of Arab Universities. They discussed the ways of cooperation between Al Ain University and the College concerning students’ enrollment at the College of Education, Humanities and Social Studies (Arabic Language Department), and that will be at three levels; one year course, two-year course or four-year course with the obtainment of the Bachelor degree in Arabic Language.
(LabVIEW) workshop for engineering students in AAU-Al Ain BranchIn the framework of the keenness of Al Ain University of Science and Technology (AAU) on the students and their interests in the latest technologies, the College of Engineering and IT (CEIT) at AAU, has organized, in conjunction with the IEEE UAE MTT & IM joint chapter and the IEEE AAU Student Branch, a technical workshop about LabVIEW (Software developed by National Instruments, NI).

In cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs Faculty of Pharmacy organizes a lecture entitled (Environment, Health and Safety in the Pharmaceutical Industry)The College of Pharmacy at Al Ain University of Science and Technology –Al Ain Campus, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized a lecture entitled (Environment, Health and Safety in the Pharmaceutical Industry), presented by Dr. Sadaf Shaheen, Training Coordinator - Quality Assurance Department, Neopharma Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company.
A lecture entitled “Business Ethics and Anti-fraud” -Abu Dhabi Campus-In cooperation with the Tawazun Company and the community engagement committee in the College of Business Administration, Deanship of Student Affairs in Al Ain University of Science and Technology -Abu Dhabi campus, organized a lecture entitled “Business Ethics and Anti-fraud “, presented by Professor / Fouad Awad, and attended by group of faculty and students of the university.
Dean of Student Affairs organized Health Event for EyesBecause your eyes are your mirror to life, The Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University of Science and Technology –Al Ain campus- organized the Health Event for Eyes in collaboration with Hili Mall and Hili Rayhaan by Rotana, and with the participation of Dr. Maher Naim, a specialist eye test and contact lenses, of Dana Optical, which continued for 3 days.
During the examinationDr. Maher did a free examination for the students, and explain the test results for each person, also gave the required advice.
The Deanship of Students Affairs Organized the Clan Roving University CampIn the keenness of Al Ain University of Science and Technology on the health awareness among students and staff, the Deanship of Student Affairs in collaboration with the Dr. Nutrition Center , organized Health Day and Competition of weight loss in Al Ain University of Science and Technology -Abu Dhabi Campus-, It was attended by Dr. Iyad Abdul Majeed, Deputy Dean of Student Affairs at Abu Dhabi campus, and a number of faculty members and students of the university.
Dr. Abdel Basset Al-Shuaibi, General Doctor in the Dr. Nutrition Center, started with an explanation about the steps that must be taken from food and life terms for weight loss, healthy meals to be addressed, as well as ways to get a healthy life by relieving eat junk food, and doing exercises as much as possible.
The Deanship of Students Affairs Organized the Clan Roving University CampIn the framework of the keenness of Al Ain University of Science and Technology, The Deanship of Student Affairs at AAU -Al Ain Branch- organized the Clan Roving University Camp in Fujairah on Thursday 24-12-2015.
The camp ambience was mixed between learning and entertainment, where it began with the training of how to set up tents, surround the camp fence, in addition to learning the types of fire, kinds of knots and bundles, as well as outdoor cooking.
The target of this camp is to encourage students to learn new things and instill confidence in themselves.
