    R.Weni Idayuliawati. 2014. The increasing of writing service letter ability relating to schoolactivity in writing learning with using writing letter learning technique. Classroom action

    research at students VIII class junior high school 14 tasikmalaya school year 2013/2014.

    study program language education and Indonesian literature. faculty of educational

    sciences and teachers training siliwangi university Tasikmalaya.

    Writing service letter is basic competence that the students VIII class have to mastering it

    based on school based curriculum. In fact, in junior high school 14 tasikmalaya, still many

    students that cant write service letter relating to school activity correctly.

    Formulation problems of this research is can writing letter learning technique increase

    writing service letter ability relating to school activity at VIII class junior high school 14

    tasikmalaya school year 2013/2014.

    The aim of this research is for knowing does writing letter learning technique is able to

    increase writing service letter ability relating to school activity at VIII class junior high school 14

    tasikmalaya school year 2013/2014 or not.

    Research method that the researcher use in this research is Classroom action research.

    Whereas, for achieving data technique are 1) observation 2) test 3) interview. the Sources of this

    data are primary source data (students VIII class junior high school 14 tasikmalaya school year

    2013/2014 as many 38 people) and secondary source data is teacher.

    Formulation of the problem had got answer. This thing appear from raising process students

    learning result. Learning process at first cycle havent got satisfaction. In first cycle there was six

    students (28,6%) not active, three students (14,3%) not serious and six students (28,6%) are not

    join as participation. At second cycle, students learning process got increase because all students

    were active, serious and join in learning process. Learning result at first cycle as many 30 people

    (78,9%) students havent reached CRITERIA OF MINIMAL COMPLETENESS (CCM ) from

    CCM 76. Students learning result at first cycle havent got success, at second cycle students

    learning result was very satisfaction which all students had 100% reached CCM.

    From data above show that writing letter learning technique can increase the ability of

    writing service letter relating to school activity at VIII class junior high school 14 tasikmalaya

    school year 2013/2014. It means, the hypothesis this research action is proven
