What Can You Do To Help?

P L A N In conjunction with your local EMA.

With all stakeholders – including private medical professionals.

With your neighboring cities and counties.

Encourage involvement of local volunteer organizations.

For a lack of outside assistance. For COOP and COG.

Identify available resources, sources, andassisting agencies.

Identify shortcomings and plan to overcomethem.

Plan for FEAR!

Plan for Mass Fatalities.

Pandemic Planning Peculiarities

Will we have people to occupy our state andcounty Emergency Operations Centers?

Will outside agencies or other states be willing to come into the affected area to assist?

Work closely with your state and regional healthfacilities to determine issues and procedures.  Will isolation facilities be required?

What “social distances” will need to be observed.   What affect will the pandemic conditions have on schools,

 workplaces, and businesses.

From where will required ventilators and medicines come?
