PRODUCTION PROCESSThe materials used for the poles are round aluminum alloys with high wind resistance performance, corrosion resistance and decorative properties. Extruded aluminum alloy tube is mechanically rolled on a specially designed digitally controlled machine. The machine forms conical aluminum pole with a greater durability from cylindrical tubes.

For correct installation of Light Poles:A light pole is an engineered structure which is designed to withstand to physical forces in order to support single or multiple luminaire configurations.

The light pole is designed to resist the combinations of configuration loads, wind forces, snow/ice loads and other environmental forces such as vibration forces due to earthquakes. All these can change their expected useful life.

Together with all combined effects mentioned at above, the foundation system of a lighting pole should be carefully designed by civil engineers. The engineering analysis of the complete design together with the environmental conditions ensure the suitable strength of foundation to safely accommodate the various loads of the lighting pole.

The following factors must be identified to ensure good installation of a lighting pole:- Mounting height of the luminaires or other auxiliary equipments,- Selection and configuration of luminaire,- Special loads (such as decorations on the pole),- Wind speeds for the installation zone,- Vibration due to wind forces (first and second mode vibrations),- Terrain properties, soil conditions,- Finishing of the pole and luminaires,- Foundation design.

A light pole is generally secured to a carefully designed concrete foundation by using method of anchor bolts. The concrete foundation must be designed by a qualified civil engineer for providing sufficient strength to transfers the loads on the pole to the ground.

For concrete foundation, the following can be provided and supplied by ALCOPOLE:- Loads and moment forces on the foundation for necessary calculations,- Bolt circle template plate for correct installation of anchorage bolts in the foundation,- Anchor j-bolts, nuts and washers.

ALCOPOLE can provide the loading conditions, but not provide a foundation design service.
