2017 All-State Musicians

Where did all the

time go???

It’s invested well…Concert Band- Wind Ensemble performs at Chicago Symphony Center for the 2nd time in school history- WE/WS earned Division I ratings at the Midwest Music Festival- Performed over 50 pieces of music between the 4 bands- 9 students recognized as All-District Musicians. 4 recognized as All-State Musicians

Jazz Band- Ensemble, Lab Band, and Combos each received Division 1 ratings at the Purdue Jazz Fest- Performed at the Tivoli Theater with Reggie Thomas and NIU Jazz Orchestra- Numerous students awarded outstanding soloists at Purdue Jazz Fest- Hosted guest artist Mark Colby for Spring Jazz Concert

Marching Mustangs- Started the season with score of 61.30 and reached as high as a score of 82.10- Placed in class or made finals in nearly every competition of the season- Placed 10th in the state at the Illinois State University Marching Band Championships- Scored a 72.95 at the BOA Super Regional Championships in Indianapolis- Grand Champion of the Sugar Bowl Battle of the Bands Field Show Competition
