Today, the sophistication of learning technologies is buzzing!
About 180 apply to ASTD every year. I see a small percentage –
about 50 in the last few years.
But WOW! The best ones undercut my cynicism. If you’re seeing “all glitz,
narrow results,” you’ve missed these. The best win more than awards!
This session is not slick. I’m Org Change Consultant, not tech guru.
Ten years as Evaluator & Judge for ASTD and OD Network of Chicago.
35 years as internal & external OD consultant.
The slides do not tell the stories, but these notes may help you see the
framework and help those who attended the session to remember the stories.
The point is for any of us to grab what we can bring to our current work.

For some of us, an opportunity!
Only a few deep, collaborative partnerships
with external stakeholders were even noted.
Thus, future award points are waiting!
