Eleni’s Zevgaridou work takes a variety of forms, abstract, figurative and narrative. The materials are clay, resin, plaster, acrylics, mixed media. All her sculptural works share a fascination about human connections, body language and individuality.

BIO

Eleni Zevgaridou (b. Thessaloniki, Greece, 1961), after 28 years in the advertising sector, turned her full attention to art. The decision was taken in 2012, after I had the chance to study sculpture for two years (2010-2012), next to Professor Sławomir Andrzej Mieleszko, head of the department of Monumental Sculpture and Dr Wojciech Mendzelewski, at the Art Institute of Maria Skłodowska-Curie University of Lublin, Poland. Prior to this period, for more than 10 years, she attended private courses for painting, ceramics, jewellery and sculpture at “Topos Ekphrasis”, Athens, Greece.

In 2015 she graduated her MA in Fine Art at the University of Lincoln, UK.
