That's because clutter is both a cause and a symptomof trapped energy, and it's bad Feng Shui. - Gettingrid of clutter is the most important step to creating asmooth, gentle, nurturing flow of chi (vital energy)through your home, and should be the first thing youdo to improve the Feng Shui of your space.For your immediate attention, you could consideryour kitchen since it is the heart of the home but thefact is your clutter can make grocery shopping, mealplanning and cleaning up time-consuming tasks thattake the heart right out of this room. A clutteredkitchen is a disorganized kitchen that transformssmall tasks into big tasks, brings your energy downand can take the joy right out of preparing meals.Here are ideas to quickly clear the clutter out of yourkitchen so you can keep small tasks small, see whatyou own and start to enjoy your kitchen again.Get rid of your obvious kitchen clutter. This is a greatway to shift to quick decision making and get in theclutter free mind set. Get rid of anything rotten, bro-ken, damaged, and take out all the items that need tobe recycled and put in the garbage. Just taking 5-10minutes to do this can lift your energy, increase yourmotivation and get you started clearing other areas.The next area to de-clutter is the inside of your cup-boards. Throw away mismatched and chipped crock-ery and keep the dishes that you love to use and lookat. Using your favourite dishes to create an attractivetable and make mealtimes special. pans that are burnt or damaged and just keep the potsand pans that are in good condition and that you “douse”. This makes meal preparation more enjoyableand easier.Take a look in your kitchen drawers and check yourutensils. Can you find what you need immediately?Get rid of all the doubles and multiples and set limitsas to how many you keep in each drawer. A rule ofthumb is if you can not see it you will not use it.Keep your most frequently used utensils near thestove.Other kitchen clutter that gets out of control are plas-tic bags, plastic containers, small unidentifiable bitsand pieces and boxes.
