The mission of Hawk Elementary is to create

Homework

We use manipulatives, learning through play, and hands on activities.

Homework may be given to practice skills (as needed) that are not yet mastered.

Recommended reading (or reading to your child for 20 minutes)

Progress Reports

Grade level Report Cards - in addition to the 6 Week Progress Reports (IEPs).

Teachers and students will be keeping track of their progress in their own Learning Target Folders.

Below 70% Mastery does not mean failing!
