Owner is requesting Bids for theconstruction of the project listedabove.

Bids for the construction ofthe Project will be received andaccepted via electronic bid (vBid)through QuestCDN until March 19,2021 at 2:00 p.m. local time. Bidswill be viewed and read via video/phone conference at 2:30 p.m.Mailed or hand delivered bids willnot be opened or considered. The Project includes the follow-ing Work: Replacement of asbes-tos cement pipe (ACP)water main,

installation of sanitary sewer ser-vice and cleanouts, replacementof sanitary sewer manholes, stormsewer inlets and piping, curb andgutter, valley gutter, concrete flat-work, asphalt reclamation andmilling, asphalt patching and over-lay, crack seal and seal coat, andmiscellaneous construction items.

Each bid must be accompa-nied by a bidder's bond in a sumequal to 5% of the full amountof the bid executed by the bid-der as principal and by a surety,conditioned that if the principal'sbid is accepted and a contract isawarded to the principal, the prin-cipal, within ten (10) days after thenotice of the award, shall executea contract in accordance with theterms of the bid and the bid bond,and any conditions of the Cityof Cooperstown, as required bylaw. A countersignature of a bidbond is not required. If the Cityof Cooperstown elects to award acontract to the lowest responsiblebidder, and the lowest responsiblebidder does not execute a contractwithin ten (10) days, the bidder'sbond will be forfeited to the Cityof Cooperstown, and the City ofCooperstown may award the proj-ect to the next lowest responsiblebidder.
