Introduction of RCARO
Regional Cooperative Agreement (RCA)
The RCA is an inter-governmental agreement for East Asia & Pacific region, under the auspices of the IAEA, in which the Government Parties undertake, in co-operation with each other and with the IAEA to promote and co-ordinate co-operative research, development (R&D) and training projects in nuclear science and technology through their appropriate national institutes.
The RCA was started in 1972 and with the participation of
17 Member States.
