The character Lil Y gi was b rn fr m my, hem. f ervent mind in 1974:

the intenti n was t pr p se a l cal weekly magazine, the weekly

Strip, but it was n t thought to be interesting. And the character,although I had prepared several strips, f ell into oblivion.

ut the 2011 hot muggy summer, beyond getting me excited to enter

into SCRI D.COM, the world's largest library, many of my works

(essays, poems, comics, various giveaways etc) it stimulated me to

bring back to memory the character of LilYogi which, with great

pleasure, I dusted off and enriched with new strips.

Who is Lil Yogi? In the years ' 70 the Indian philosophy was very

f ashionable, then, speaking only of Hindu yoga, santons etc. but the

phenomenon with time apparently seemed to collapse, however, over

the years, exploded into a thousand other philosophical-religious

prof essions that today, at a distance of 40 years, seem to off er

everything and more. The basic phenomenon, namely, the

transcendental meditation was, which takes to an immanentconsciousness that has neither name nor existential body, as it

belongs to an unknown god, but that seems to possess thousand

answers. And Lil Yogi is aiming precisely at this god



About the Author

Antonio Dal Muto, Roman, lives and works in Cesena.

He graduated as master of Arts at the Institute of Art in painting and drawing

at Marino (Rome); He obtained the specialization as Interior Architect; He

attended the Faculty of architecture in Florence; Owns the teaching

habilitation for History of Art and Drawing

To his credit has got several exhibitions of Painting, but his activity was held also with other experiences such as

in:

ART DIRECTION He made the theatre back scenes, in the years 90, of E Campanon a local slang song contest

COMICS: He is the author of the work mentioned in the introduction, and also of theHistory by Comics of

AriciAntica. From the 8th century

C to the 5th century AD edited with the sponsorship of the Province of

Rome and the Municipality of Ariccia; other recent work is the History by Comics of Sarsina. From its origins to

the construction of the Cathedral 11th century and the "History of Castrocaro

y Comics" not published due

to lack of interest by the respective Municipalities; "History of Anzio. From its origins to Nero "awaiting the

publication by the Administration of Anzio town, and the History of Comacchio by Comics created on the

request of an editor from Comacchio an published.

CARTOONIST: he collaborates for many years with the weekly Magazine Il CorriereCesenate On 1985, he

collaborated with RAI Broadcasting, by the RAI Bologna Center; he also collaborated with TeleRomagna, a local TV

Broadcasting;

Art criticism: he collaborated with daily NewsapaperThe CORRIERE DI Romagna, then with The VOCE di

Romagna, and now, again with the CORRIERE di Romagna, engaging in critical reflections on artists and initiatives

related to painting, sculpture and architecture.
