This document outlines the Arnold Heights/Airpark Rebuild Project, focusing on Northwest 48th to Northwest 57th streets, W. Luke to W. Wilkins streets. At the heart of maintaining this service is a reliable system that delivers electricity on customer demand. To continue to provide reliable service, LES will replace a portion of deteriorating electrical facilities in the Arnold Heights/Airpark area. Installed in 1957, the overhead power lines and facilities will be converted to underground and at-grade equipment. The street light facilities in this area will also be replaced as they are near the end of their useful life and will be upgraded to meet current city standards.
