He joined the group immediately after his graduation in mechanical and electrical engineering and training in Germany. Besides his career as an industrialist, Mr Atul Bhagwati has also been honoured as an industry leader.

Anuj Bhagwati completed his B.S. (Engineering Physics) (1991) and M.S. (Applied Physics) (1994) – both from Cornell University. He has been actively involved in a wide range of activities in the group.

A.T.E. has a long tradition of social service. From the 1970s to the 1990s, A.T.E. adopted

several villages and built 2 rural hospitals in Gujarat.

Since 1995, A.T.E. and Anuj Bhagwati personally have been focused on addressing issues of

urbanization in India

Mr Bhagwati co-founded the Praja Foundation, an NGO working to improve urban

governance

Trustee of the Urban Design Research Institute (UDRI), an NGO focused on urban

planning and revival

A.T.E. supports the Marathi Vidnyan Parishad, an NGO promoting awareness about science
