• Many of these boys come from abusive backgrounds and had no good parenting.

• Thus their image of father especially, is a distorted one.

• Our challenge is to help them see their Heavenly Father in a different light

• Their need for love and discipline is evident

Orins’ s storyOrins’ s storyOrin is 6 years old and is our newest boy in the

home. His two older sisters had to also be placed in an orphanage as their home is no longer a safe place for them and their mom. His dad has been physically abusive towards his mother in the presence of the children and verbally abusive to the kids. Orin said the neighbor’s kid told him to put a knife in his dad’s back while he was beating on his mom but he did not. He still loves his dad even though he saw him nearly murder his mom .

Praise God we were able to take Orin in and provide a safe place for him near his 2 uncles who are boys in the home also. He is learning about the love of Jesus from Sunday School and Church. He is feeling a lot safer these days and is a happier kid .

It is a tremendous privilege to help these kids find a normal life and learn about Jesus’s love for them. They are all so unique. We try to do special things for them so they have a better childhood to remember. Especially birthdays and Christmas. They were at summer camp with Inter School Christian Fellowship.
