1 Creating an SAP IDoc XML SchemaAn SAP IDoc XML schema can be viewed in and downloaded from the SAP system:

1. Navigate to WE60 (IDoc documentation). 2. Enter the name of the IDoc in the basic type field (or the Enhancement field if your IDoc is

an enhancement of a standard SAP IDoc). 3. Follow this menu path: Documentation } XML Schema. 4. If prompted to generate documentation for the Unicode file, respond Yes. 5. On the resulting screen containing the XSD of the IDoc, choose the XML menu and

Download.

Save all the IDoc schemas with the XSD file extension to the DELMIA Apriso Schema Repository under the XMLSchemas\External folder. Be sure to add these schemas to the source code and deploy them to the DELMIA Apriso server. These schemas are then to be used for mapping.


2 Modifying BI Integration SettingsDELMIA Apriso Configuration Manager can maintain all the necessary configurations required for the integration of DELMIA Apriso with external systems using any of the supported Integration Brokers. Dassault Systèmes recommends using the DELMIA Apriso Configuration Manager to modify the settings for the Business Connector. For details on how to update, please refer to the “XML Configuration Guidelines” document.


3 Configure SAP Business Connector3.1 PrerequisitesDownload the latest version of the SAP Business Connector (SAP BC) from http://service.sap.com/connectors (this requires an SAP customer ID and password). Install the SAP BC according to the SAP BC installation guide. There is no need to install the Developer, as we are not developing mappings using the BC Developer tool.

The SAP Business Connector server can be installed on the same server as DELMIA Apriso, but installing it on a different machine is recommended.

The SAP Business Connector versions 4.7 and 4.8 are currently supported.

3.2 Business Connector Transport Type

3.3 Configure the SAP Business Connector Version To configure the SAP Business Connector, perform the following steps:

1. Start the SAP Business Connector administrator by accessing the URL of the server on which the SAP Business Connector server is installed and running (e.g., http://uslbpddev09:5555, wherein Uslbpddev09 is the name of the server on which the SAP BC is running) using Internet Explorer or another Internet browser.

The Business Connector server should be running on the server where it is installed to get to the SAP BC administrator UI.

2. The default user for logging in to the BC is “Administrator” and the password is “manage”. If you cannot log in with this, contact your SAP Basis administrator for login details. Once you log in on the SAP Business Connector, you will be able to do all the necessary configuration. The main page display is as follows:

3. Set up the SAP servers by clicking the SAP… link under Adapters on the left menu panel, after which a new SAP page will be displayed. By default, the SAP Server page displays on the right panel. a. Click the Add SAP Server link, which will display the system screen b. Fill in all the necessary information about the SAP system c. Save the information by clicking Save d. Test the system information by clicking the Test Connection button at the bottom of the

right panel

4. Set up a Listener by clicking the SAP Servers link on the left menu panel. a. In the Listeners column for the desired SAP Server name, click the number in the cell

and the Add Listener page will display.

b. Click the Add Listener button and the Add SAP Listener Definition page will be displayed.

c. Fill in all necessary information and save by clicking Save, which will then display the previous page.

d. Start the Listener by clicking in the Started? column for the desired program ID. The red dot will then change to green, which indicates that the Listener program has started.


5. Set up the routing rule by clicking the Routing Rules link on the left menu panel. This will initiate a new browser to manage the routing rules.

a. Inside the Add Routing Rule area, enter values for Sender, Receiver, and Message Type (the sender and receiver are the logical systems set up in SAP). Then click the Add button, which will display the Routing Rules edit page.

b. To download the IDoc, select XML as the transport and, in XML dialect, enter the URL of DELMIA Apriso’s receive page (“SAP-XML”).

c. Save the information by clicking Save. d. Repeat step 5 for each outbound routing rule.

e. To upload the IDoc, select ALE(R/3 IDOC) as the transport and, in Specify SAP Destination, enter the SAP destination defined in the BC for accessing SAP.

f. Save the information by clicking Save. g. Repeat step 5 for each inbound routing rule.

When you use the ORDRSP message type as inbound and configure a routing rule in the Business Connector, by default the BC creates a routing rule with the sender as the customer number (instead of the logical system). To overcome this problem and to ensure that the SAP BC creates a correct routing rule, the following configuration in the SAP Business Connector is required:
